Add a Speakers section to your website so that your guests can learn more about your event speakers panel and find out which sessions their favourite speaker(s) is/are speaking at, at a glance. 

First, make sure that you are in the Registration Website Control Panel of the correct Event Workspace. Under Website Sections, click on the Speakers icon nested in the ‘+ New Section’ module. A Speakers section will be generated. Click on it to set it up.

Manage Event Speakers

Click on ‘Manage Event Speakers’ to set up your speakers if you have not done so, or if you want to update speaker information.

Adding A Speaker

Click on ‘+ New Speaker’ to open a popup where you can input details of your speaker. If you have previously set up your Event Programme, you will be able to select the sessions in which your speaker would be speaking at. If not, you can also do an ad-hoc set up by clicking the ‘Add New Session’ button. 

You can also choose to leave this field untouched for now and come back to edit it anytime after you have finished setting up your Event Programme! Whichever way you choose, just remember to always click the blue button at the top of the popup to save your work!

Bulk Speaker Upload

Have multiple speakers to add and don't want to do it manually? Under 'Manage Event Speakers' select the 'Import' button which you will see in the right hand corner of your screen, and then select 'Download Template'.

Starting from line 3 on the downloaded excel template, paste in your speaker information (as required).

To link a speaker to a session they are speaking at, type "Yes" into the column under any session(s) you would like to be linked to them on their speaker page.

Once all your speaker information has been added to the template, return to 'Manage Event Speakers > Import > Upload Template'. (Note: images must be added manually)

Editing A Speaker

Hover over the speaker in question to reveal the edit icon. Click on it to bring out the popup where you can edit the speaker’s information. Click on ‘Edit Speaker’ once you are done for changes to take effect. 

Deleting A Speaker

Hover over the speaker you would like to delete to reveal the trashcan icon. Click on it to delete that speaker forever. 

Once you are done managing your event speakers, head back to the Registration Website Speakers Section page by clicking the ‘<’ button in the Page Title Bar.

Look & Feel 

You can choose to use either a solid colour, an image, or a video as the background of this website section. To use a solid colour, make sure that 'Colour' is selected on the switch placed under 'Background Type'. Then, simply select your desired hue from the colour picker or input its corresponding colour code (i.e. #FFFFFF) or RGB values. You will also be able to apply your Theme Colours by clicking their swatches in the colour picker.    

To use a media, flip the 'Background Type' switch to 'Media' and then click on the ‘Upload Image/Video’ box to select your desired file. 

  • Recommended size: 2000px by 1125px 

  • Supported formats: jpg, png, mp4, mov, avi, wmv, 3gp, flv 

You can also choose between a dark (default black) or light (default white) font colour for this section by toggling the switch placed under 'Text Colour'. 


Give your Speakers section an appropriate headline. 

Once you are done, click ‘Save'.
